APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.59 (a) and (b) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa, notification is hereby
given that Mr. Thavanesan Vasudeva Naidoo will be appointed as Company Secretary
with effect from Monday, 31 January 2005 in place of Mr. Melvyn Ivor Jaye who
will be retiring on the same date. Mr Jaye has served the Company in this
position since November 1993. The Board acknowledges his significant
contribution to the Company and wishes him well for the future.
