TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South
Africa, shareholders are advised that Beget expects to report a reduction in
losses for the 2004 financial year from a loss of R13 685 415 for the 12 month
period ended 31 December 2003 to a loss of between R1 500 00 and R2 000 000.
This equates to an expected headline loss per share of between 0.41 and 0.55
cents per share (2003: headline loss of 1.25 cents per share).
The financial information on which this trading statement has been based has not
been reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
Beget`s audited financial results for the year ended 31 December 2004 are
expected to be published on or about 31 March 2005.
