TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders of Y3K are hereby advised that headline earnings per share for the
year ending 28 February 2005 are expected to be between 900% and 1,030% higher
than the headline earnings per share for the year ended 29 February 2004.
Earnings per share for the year endings 28 February 2005 are expected to be
between 540% and 670% higher than the earnings per share for the year ended 29
February 2004.The difference between the headline and basic earnings per share
is predominantly due to the write off of intangible assets.
The reason for the increase are as a result of the benefits derived from the
acquisitions of Information Security Architects (Pty) Ltd and iSecure (Pty) Ltd,
with effect from 1 March 2004.
The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed and reported on
by Y3K`s auditors. The financial results for the year ending 28 February 2005
are expected to be published on or about 27 May 2005 and shareholders are
accordingly requested to be aware of the above facts when dealing in their
shares until publication of the financial results.
