The Board of Ellerine Holdings Limited has resolved to accept the resignation of
Barry van der Merwe as an Executive Director of Ellerine Holdings Limited with
effect from 28 February 2005.
Barry, who was joint Managing Director of Wetherlys division, has requested to
be released from his service obligations in order to pursue his own private
activities. Barry will remain on as a Non-Executive director of Wetherlys (Pty)
Limited and will continue to give the Wetherlys management the benefit of his
vast experience and expertise.
The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Barry for his contribution during
the transitional period.
The remaining senior management at Wetherlys are in place and are committed to
achieving the long term potential of that niche business
