Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 28 February
2005, regarding the resignation of Barry van der Merwe as an executive director
of Ellerine Holdings Limited, and accordingly as a consequence of this
resignation, James Smith, an alternate director to Barry van der Merwe on the
Ellerine Holdings Limited board has resigned with effect from 28 February 2005
from that board.
James remains in the full time employ of the Company as an executive director of
the various Wetherlys operating businesses.
