DEALING IN SECURITIES BY DIRECTORS AND THE COMPANY SECRETARY OF UNITRANS
In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.65 of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Securities Exchange South Africa (`the JSE`) and pursuant to the SENS
announcement made by Unitrans on 21 December 2004, the following information is
disclosed relating to the acceptance by Directors and the Company Secretary of
Unitrans of options over Unitrans shares, granted as a normal grant in terms of
the Unitrans Limited Share Scheme.
Option Date
As announced on SENS on 21 December 2004, the option date is 7 December 2004.
(The grant became unconditional on 28 February 2005 ).
Option Price
R31,01 per Unitrans share being the volume weighted average price on 7 December
2005 , rounded off to the nearest cent.

Options will vest at the rate of 25% on each of the second, third, fourth and
fifth anniversaries of the option date. Hurdle conditions have been imposed
which require that the growth in headline earnings per Unitrans share is equal,
over the relevant period(s), to the growth in the aggregate median value of
shares included in the index of the top 25 industrial companies listed on the
JSE (`the Indi 25`).
These grants of options were made within an overall allocation to Unitrans`
executives totalling options over 620 000 shares or 0,696% of Unitrans` issued
share capital.
