Notice is hereby given that as a result of the Capital Distribution declaration
relating to IMPERIAL HOLDINGS LIMITED (IPL) the Trustees of the IPL Share
Instalment have declared a Capital Distribution of 175 cents per share
instalment. The last day to trade cum Capital Distribution is Friday, 11 March
2005. The share instalment will commence trading ex Capital Distribution from
Monday ,14 March 2005 and the record date will be Friday , 18 March 2005. The
Capital Distribution will be paid on Tuesday, 22 March 2005.

Notice is hereby given that as a result of the dividend declaration relating to
SANLAM LIMITED (SLM) the Trustees of the SLM Share Instalment have declared a
dividend of 50 cents per share instalment. The last day to trade cum dividend
is Friday, 15 April 2005. The share instalment will commence trading ex dividend
