TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa Listings Requirements,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period
will be more than 20% different than that of the previous corresponding period.
In light of the above, shareholders are advised that it is expected that both
headline loss and loss per share for the six months ended 31 December 2004 will
show a 40% to 50% improvement on those of the prior comparative period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. The publication of the
results is expected towards the end of March 2005.
