Notification of Director`s dealing in Massmart Holdings Limited securities
In compliance with rule 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Listing Requirements, the
following dealings in the securities of Massmart have taken place by a director
of the company :

Shareholding : The exercise of these options concludes the
phase-out programme of options for non-
executive directors whose remuneration is now
fee based only, in accordance with Massmart
governance practices. Mr Seabrooke now holds
no shares or options in the Massmart Holdings
Limited Employee Share Trust, however Mr
Seabrooke`s personal shareholding of 200,000
shares remain unchanged.`
The required clearance per section 3.66 of the JSE Listings Requirements was
obtained.
