Requirements, in respect of a change to the Board of Directors, notification is
hereby given that Ms. Cheryl Carolus has been appointed to the board of
directors of Investec Limited and Investec plc with effect from 18 March 2005.
Previously the South African High Commissioner to London (1998 - 2001), Cheryl
was the CEO of SA Tourism for the period 2001 - 2004 and currently sits, in non-
executive capacity, on a number of other boards.
