GENERAL ISSUE OF UNITS FOR CASH
Unitholders are advised that Ambit has placed 15 486 725 linked units with ABSA
Commercial Property Finance, a public shareholder, at an issue price of 226
cents per linked unit raising a total of R 35 000 000. The issue price is equal
to the 30-day weighted average traded price of Ambit prior to the date the issue
price was determined. In addition a payment of 13.1 cents per linked unit has
been received as payment for the anticipated notional distribution for the
period from 1 October 2004 to 31 March 2005. This amount represents the
estimated distribution and will be subject to adjustment upon the announcement
of Ambit`s interim distribution in May 2005.
The new linked units will be issued on 24 March 2005 and will rank pari passu in
all respects with the current issued unit capital of Ambit.
The general issue does not have a material effect on the net asset value,
earnings or distribution per linked unit of Ambit.
