FINALISATION DATA ANNOUNCEMENT WITH RESPECT TO THE AST RIGHTS OFFER
AST shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 14 March 2005 and are
advised that all conditions precedent to the merger agreement and to the
underwriting agreements have been fulfilled and the agreements are, therefore,
unconditional.
The renounceable (nil paid) letters of allocation will trade under the JSE code
of AAAN and the ISIN of ZAE000065397.
AST shareholders are advised to refer to the circular dated 18 February 2005 or
the announcement dated 14 March 2005 for important dates and times relating to
the rights offer which will proceed in accordance with the timetable set out
therein.
