Further to the publication on 21 February 2005 of the Group`s audited results
for the year ended 31 December 2004, Tongaat-Hulett advises that its 2004 annual
report, which incorporates the audited annual financial statements for that
period, has been dispatched to shareholders. The Group is not required to
publish an abridged report at this date as the audited results that were
published on 21 February 2005 are unchanged. The annual report is available on
the Tongaat-Hulett website (www.tongaat.co.za).
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of shareholders will be
held at the Corporate Office, Amanzimnyama Hill, Tongaat on Tuesday, 26 April
2005 at 09h00 to transact businesses set out in the annual general meeting
notice which will accompany Tongaat-Hulett`s 2004 annual report.
