WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Introduction
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 22 November 2004 and the
cautionary announcements dated 3 January 2005 and 2 February 2005 and are
advised that the circular to shareholders, relating to the specific issue of 83
333 333 ordinary shares for cash at an issue price of 300 cents per ordinary
share in order to raise R250 million (`the specific issue of shares for cash`)
to fund Phase I of the Ruashi Copper / Cobalt project, will be posted to
shareholders on 31 March 2005.
General meeting
A general meeting of shareholders will be held on 15 April 2005 to approve the
specific issue of shares for cash and a further announcement will be made in
regard thereto after the general meeting.
Withdrawal of cautionary announcement
As a consequence of the release of the circular, the cautionary announcement is
hereby withdrawn.
