TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that African Dawn is currently finalising its results
for the year ending 28 February 2005.
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities
Exchange South Africa, relating to Trading Statements, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20%
or more from those of the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are therefore advised that African Dawn`s headline earnings per
share for the year ending 28 February 2005 is expected to increase by between
75% and 85% over that of the previous corresponding period. This financial
information has not been reported on by African Dawn`s auditors.
The results for the year ending 28 February 2005 will be published during April
2005.
