CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE
On 31 March 2005, Godfrey Gomwe succeeded Trevor Jones as Non-Executive Chairman
of Highveld. Godfrey Gomwe also sits on the Employment Equity, Remuneration and
Nomination Committees of the Board.
Godfrey, 49, is Chief Operating Officer of Anglo American South Africa, Chairman
of Anglo American Zimbabwe, Anglo Zimele, Mondi South Africa and a member of
various Anglo American operating boards and executive committees.
Trevor Jones retires after 37 years with Highveld, including 13 years as Chief
Executive Officer. On his retirement from executive responsibilities on 1
November 2003 he was appointed Non-Executive Chairman.
The Highveld Board extends its appreciation to Trevor for his significant
contribution over his many years with the corporation and for the leadership
role he has played most recently as Non-Executive Chairman. The Highveld Board
and staff wish him all the best in his retirement.
