APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND CHANGE OF COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa
Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised of the following:
- Tshidi Nyembe has been appointed to the board of directors of Faritec, as
group financial director with effect from 1 April 2005.
Tshidi has the following qualifications: B.Comm (Accounting), University of
Bophuthatswana; B.Compt (Honours), University of South Africa; CTA, University
of South Africa; CA(SA).
Tshidi`s experience lies in capital expenditure and equity investments,
corporate finance and financial management. She joins Faritec from Transnet,
where she was an assistant general manager of finance and held various positions
including as a member of the Investment, Risk and Audit committees of the
Transnet Retirement Fund and Transmed Medical Aid Fund. Before Tshidi joined
Transnet in 1999, she was a corporate analyst at Stanbic. She also sits on the
board of directors of Charities Aid Foundation SA, a section 21 company.
- Mr. Donald Nieuwoudt has resigned as company secretary with effect from 31
March 2005.
- Mr. Craig Densham has been appointed as company secretary with effect from 1
April 2005.
