Shareholders are advised that the company`s annual financial statements for the
year ended 31 December 2004 were today posted to shareholders and contain no
modifications to the audited results which were published on 28 February 2005.
PricewatehouseCoopers Inc. audited the results and the annual financial
statements of Cadiz and their reports are available for inspection at the
registered offices of the company.

Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of the company will be
held at 12:00 on Thursday, 26 May 2005, in the boardroom on the Ground Floor,
Fernwood House, The Oval, 1 Oakdale Road, Newlands, Cape Town to transact the
business as stated in the notice of the annual general meeting.
