TRADING STATEMENT
In compliance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa, the board of directors wish to advise
shareholders that both earnings per share and headline earnings per share for
the six months ended 28 February 2005 are expected to be between 35% and 40%
higher than those reported for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that the profit estimate contained in this Trading
Statement has neither been reviewed nor reported on by the company`s external
auditors.
The group`s results for the six months ending 28 February 2005 will be released
on SENS on Tuesday 17 May 2005.
