TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange South
Africa, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they
become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be
reported on next differ by more than 20% from that of the previous corresponding
period.
Value is currently finalising its results for the year ended 28 February 2005,
which should be released on SENS on or about 10 May 2005.
In this regard, shareholders are advised that headline earnings per share are
likely to be 20% to 30% higher than the corresponding previous reporting period.
The forecast financial information on which this trading statement is based has
not been reviewed and reported on by the Company`s auditors.
