APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
The following persons have been appointed to serve as non-executive directors on
the board of Unitrans Limited with effect from 6 May 2005:
Desmond Lockey, Chief Executive of Arch Equity Limited, a black-controlled
company focusing on equity investments. Mr Lockey also serves as a director on
the boards of various companies including PSG Group Limited;
Kgomotso Brian Mosehla, a director on the boards of several companies within the
Mvelaphanda Resources Limited Group (`Mvelaphanda`), including Mvelephanda
Capital (Proprietary) Limited. Mvelaphanda is a widely recognised BEE entity;
and
Johannes Henoch Neethling van der Merwe, Chief Financial Officer of Steinhoff
International Holdings Limited (`Steinhoff`). Steinhoff holds 60,8% of Unitrans`
issued share capital.
The majority of the Unitrans directors are non-executive.
