DEALING IN SECURITIES BY DIRECTORS
In compliance with rule 3.63 of the JSE Securities Exchange Listings
Requirements, Fredswem Investments (Pty) Limited (`Fredswem`) purchased 34 000
Octodec linked units on 4 May 2005 at a price per unit of 700 cents, with a
total value of R238 000. Octodec`s directors, Sharon Wapnick and Jeffrey Wapnick
each hold one third of the share capital in Fredswem in an indirect beneficial
capacity. Clearance to deal was received in terms of paragraph 3.66 of the JSE
Listings Requirements.
Shareholders are referred to the director`s dealing announcement made on Friday,
6 May 2005 in which it was mentioned that A Wapnick purchased 34 000 linked
units. This was incorrectly announced and the notice in respect of the linked
units purchased is disclosed above.
