TRADING UPDATE
Unitholders are advised that Spearhead`s basic and headline earnings per linked
unit for the year ending 30 June 2005 are expected to be between 20% and 30%
higher than those reported for the year ended 30 June 2004.
The increase in basic and headline earnings per linked unit arises from a
combination of general improvement in trading, profits generated on the disposal
of listed securities, lower finance costs and property development profits.
The basic and headline earnings per linked unit have not been reviewed or
reported on by the company`s auditors. Spearhead`s results for the year ending
30 June 2005 are expected to be released on or about 29 August 2005.
