ADVTECH STRENGTHENS SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM
ADvTECH Limited, the education, recruitment and human resources group today
announced a strengthening of its Group Management structure with the promotion
of two senior managers.
Craig Duff, the current CEO of the Tertiary Education Division will assume the
role of Group Marketing Director. John Deeb, current Group Financial Director,
will succeed Craig Duff as CEO of Tertiary Education Division.
Commentating on the Group`s restructuring, Frank Thompson, Advtech CEO, said:
`Given that the Group is in a promising growth phase, the need to maintain the
focus and increase the development of Advtech has created the need to bolster
the senior management team.`
`These appointments clearly demonstrate the inherent ability of our management
team. We are positive that both Craig and John will continue to strengthen the
business and add significant value in their new roles.`
Under Craig`s direction the Tertiary Division has made an important and rapidly
growing contribution to the performance of Advtech. His new role will enable
him to contribute more meaningfully to the growth strategy and direction across
the Group, whilst at the same time sustaining marketing leadership.
`John joined the Group in 2004 as Financial Director. His proven diverse
leadership competencies in many areas of our business made it a logical decision
to appoint John as CEO Tertiary,` Thompson concluded.
As an interim measure, John will retain the position of Group Financial Director
until the Board has agreed on a suitable replacement.
All appointments are effective from 16 May 2005.
