TRADING STATEMENT
Appointment of company secretary
In terms of 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Securities Exchange
South Africa (`Listings Requirements`) shareholders are advised that Gary Hope
has been appointed as company secretary with effect from 11 April 2005.
Trading Statement
In terms of the Listings Requirements relating to trading statements, a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware
that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will show a
difference of 20% or more from those of the previous corresponding period.
Glovil is expecting an increase of between 60% and 70% in earnings per share an
increase of between 40% and 50% in headline earnings per share for the year
ended 28 February 2005 compared to that of the previous comparative period.
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Glovil`s
auditors. The company`s annual results are expected to be published on or before
31 May 2005.
