CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa, notification is hereby given that Mr. G M
Thomas, non-executive chairman, has advised the board that he intends to retire
on 30th June 2005 and has therefore resigned from the board with effect from
that date.
Mr. Thomas (73) was appointed a non-executive director in 1996 and was elected
non-executive chairman in January 1999.
He will be succeeded as chairman by Mr. D Paizes, a long-standing non-executive
director.
