Hospital group Netcare will invest R100 million in a new SAP information technology system, which is expected to streamline its business processes.
Chief executive Jackie Shevel said the move would place Netcare in an excellent position for growth, as it ensured greater collaboration across all divisions and partners anywhere in the world.
`This will also allow newly acquired companies to be integrated more quickly, and should facilitate new international business opportunities,` he said.
Executive director Ian Kadish said the system would ultimately offer solutions that included integrated patient management, materials management and financial management.
