QUALIFIED AND DISCLAIMED AUDIT OPINION ON ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
CORWIL INVESTMENTS LIMITED (`CORWIL`)

The JSE Limited (`JSE`) wishes to advise that the audit opinion on Corwil`s
annual financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2005 has been qualified
and disclaimed. Shareholders are advised to refer to the annual financial
statements to ascertain the exact nature of the qualification and disclaimer.
Accordingly, the company`s listing on the JSE SETS system has been annotated
with a `Q` to indicate the qualification. The company`s listing has also been
annotated with a `D` to indicate that the listing of the company`s securities is
under threat of suspension and possible termination. A meeting of the JSE will
be convened to consider the continued listing or suspension and possible
termination of Corwil`s listing.
This announcement has been placed by the JSE in the interest of shareholders.
