EXTENTION OF APPLICATION PERIOD FOR THE CHROMETCO OFFER
The directors of Chrometco have resolved to extend the offer period relating to
the private placement due to administrative reasons and to create additional
time for applications to be completed by various applicants.

Placing closes at 12:00 on Friday, 05 August
Commencement of the listing at 09:00 on Friday, 12 August
Posting of share certificates on or about Friday, 12 August
Dematerialised shareholders will have their
acccounts at their CSDP or
broker credited with their shares Friday, 12 August 2005
Applicants who have already submitted application forms and want to withdraw
