CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
notification is hereby given of the following changes to the Paracon Board of
Directors with effect from 26 July 2005:
Mrs Tandi Nzimande has been appointed as a non-executive director and will chair
the Paracon audit committee. Tandi, a CA(SA), is the chief financial officer of
WDB Investment Holdings and has strong corporate finance experience.
Mr Jeremy Ord has been appointed as a non-executive director representing the
Dimension Data Holdings plc (`Dimension Data`) shareholding in Paracon. Jeremy
is the executive Chairman of Dimension Data and has served as managing director,
and held a number of senior positions since Dimension Data`s inception. Jeremy`s
extensive experience and knowledge will add significant value to the Paracon
Board.
Mr Shafiq Daniels, the managing director of Paracon Cape Town, has been
appointed as an executive director. Paracon Cape Town has grown significantly in
the past year and is a key contributor to the group`s operations.
Mr Andrew Wilson, who had previously represented Dimension Data`s shareholding
in Paracon and chaired the Paracon audit committee, has resigned as a non-
executive director. The Board of Directors thanks Andrew for his valuable
contribution.
The changes to the Board of Directors reflect Paracon`s continued efforts to
enhance its BEE profile as well as to foster closer ties with significant
shareholders, Dimension Data and WDB Investment Holdings.
