CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND VOLUNTARY TRADING UPDATE
In accordance with section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
Board of ERP.com hereby announces the resignation of Mr. Peter Forsyth as Chief
Executive Officer of the Group with effect from 31 August 2005.
Peter has seen the Group through its formation, listing and exciting growth into
one of the leading IT companies in South Africa. Peter feels that it is now time
for a new leadership style to take the Group forward into the future and after
much discussion, the board has accepted his resignation with our good wishes.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dean Brazier as Chief
Executive Officer with effect from 1 September 2005. Dean is also a founding
member of ERP.com and as an executive director on the main board, has been
directly involved in the strategy and growth of the Group since its formation.
Over the past 5 years, he has also done an outstanding job in developing
SecureData into the largest company within the Group. We congratulate Dean on
his appointment.
It is anticipated that Peter will remain with the Group as a non-executive
director until October 2005 to ensure the successful completion of the financial
year ended 31 July 2005 and the smooth handover of responsibilities to Dean. The
Board expresses their appreciation for the excellent job he has done over the
last 7 years.
The Board also believes it would be advisable to inform shareholders that it is
expected that turnover and headline earnings for the year ended 31 July 2005
will be at least 20% and 7% up respectively on the previous year. Year end
results will be published no later than 30 September 2005.
