exercised share options as follow:

Vesting date : 14.08.1995
Exercise date : 03.08.2005
Number of shares : 10 000
Total value : R287 500.00
Nature of interest : Direct beneficial
The shares will be sold in due course for appropriate alignment with his desired
investment portfolio.
In terms of Section 3.66 of the Listings Requirements prior clearance to deal in
the above securities has been obtained from the chairman of the Board of
Highveld.
