CHANGES TO DIRECTORATE
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE,
Palabora hereby announces the following changes to its Board of Directors.
With effect from 1 August 2005, the resignation of Mr John Rickus as a Non-
Executive Director and his replacement by Mr Clive Latcham. Mr Latcham is a Rio
Tinto nominee. and is a Chemical Engineer with a Master of Mineral Economics.
He has worked in a variety of mining and chemical processing industries in
Zambia, USA and Australia. Mr Latcham joined Rio Tinto in 1999 with Hamersley
Iron before moving to Robe as Managing Director in 2000. He then moved to a
London based role as part of a global improvement program before joining the
Copper Group in June 2005.
