TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the
financial results for the current reporting period will differ by at least 20%
from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Spectrum`s headline earnings and earnings per
share for the year ended 30 June 2005 will be approximately 0,1 cents compared
to the comparative period results of (0,1) cents. The information in this
trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Spectrum`s auditors.
The reviewed preliminary results announcement is expected to be published on or
about 10 August 2005.
