DECLARATION OF CUMULATIVE PREFERENCE DIVIDENDS
Notice is hereby given that the following cumulative preference dividends have
been declared:
6.5% CUMULATIVE PREFERENCE SHARES - DIVIDEND NO. 71
A dividend at the rate of 6.5% per annum in respect of the six months ending 31
July 2004 (equivalent to 6.5 cents per share per annum) (2003: 6.5 cents per
share per annum) payable to shareholders recorded as such in the register of the
Company at the close of business on the record date, Friday, 23 July 2004. The
last day to trade to participate in the dividend is Friday, 16 July 2004.
6% CUMULATIVE PREFERENCE SHARES - DIVIDEND NO. 71
A dividend at the rate of 6.0% per annum in respect of the six months ending 31
July 2004 (equivalent to 6.0 cents per share per annum) (2003: 6.0 cents per
share per annum) payable to shareholders recorded as such in the register of the
Company at the close of business on the record date, Friday, 23 July 2004. The
last day to trade to participate in the dividend is Friday, 16 July 2004.
The salient dates for the dividends are as follows:
