DECLARATION OF DIVIDEND ON THE 6% CUMULATIVE PREFERENCE SHARES
Notice is hereby given that the dividend on the 6% cumulative preference shares
(`preference shares`) for the six months ending 30 June 2004 at the rate of 6%
per annum (6 cents per preference share)(dividend No. 118) will be paid on
Monday, 28 June 2004 to all preference shareholders recorded in the register of
the company at the close of business on Friday, 25 June 2004.
The salient dates of the preference dividend are as follows:
Last day to trade Friday, 18 June 2004
Shares trade ex-dividend Monday, 21 June 2004
Record date Friday, 25 June 2004
Payment date Monday, 28 June 2004
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday,
21 June 2004 and Friday, 25 June 2004, both days inclusive.
