CLARIFICATION OF TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the trading statement dated 25 August 2005 in which
shareholders were notified that Mvela Resources` earnings per share (eps) and
headline earnings per share (heps) for the year ended 30 June 2005 would be
between 210% and 230% over that of the nine months ended 30 June 2004, reported
last year.
Mvela Resources would like to clarify that this range in numerical figures
implies eps and heps of approximately6 100 cents per share and 120 cents per
share for the year ended 30 June 2005, compared with negative eps of 89.75 cents
per share and negative heps of 96.14 cents per share in the nine months ended 30
June 2004.
