Enaleni - Successful award of government tenders to Enaleni

professional and impartial manner. If the company fails to retain a Designated
Adviser, it must make arrangements to appoint a new Designated Adviser within 10
business days, failing which the company faces suspension of trading of its
securities. If a Designated Adviser is not appointed within 30 days of its
suspension, the company faces the termination of its listing without the
prospect of an appropriate offer to minority shareholders.

SUCCESSFUL AWARD OF GOVERNMENT TENDERS TO ENALENI
Shareholders are advised that with its Black Economic Empowerment (`BEE`)
credentials in place, Enaleni was successfully awarded tablet product tenders to
the amount of R54 million from the South African Government. These tenders
cover a two-year period. Enaleni has also tendered for certain liquid and semi-
liquid tenders, that will be awarded in September and October 2005 and it is
anticipated that Enaleni will be awarded further tenders.
The tender business assists Enaleni to further diversify its revenue streams and
to manufacture and make available affordable medicine for all and will further
strengthen its relationship with international and locally based pharmaceutical
companies in South Africa as well its joint venture partners.
