Change in shareholding in AMAP
Java Capital is authorised to announce that a number of institutional and other
investors have agreed to acquire the 111,544,628 shares in Amalgamated Appliance
Holdings Limited (`AMAP`) to be sold by Salton, Inc as referred to in the AMAP
announcement of 29 August 2005. The acquisitions have been effected pursuant to
a book build process managed by Nedcor Securities (Pty) Limited at the instance
of Interactive, at a price of R4,95 per share and on the basis that no investor,
after its acquisition, will hold 35% or more of the issued shares of AMAP.
