ACQUISITION OF CONSUPAQ (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED
The Board of Astrapak wishes to inform linked unitholders that Astrapak has
acquired 60% of the issued share capital of Consupaq (Proprietary) Limited
("Consupaq") from the current shareholders for a cash consideration of R 22 800
000 with effect from 1 September 2005. The remaining 40% of the issued share
capital will be retained by the current Consupaq shareholders.
The acquisition announces Astrapak"s entrance into the cosmetic tube industry
and adds to its range of products targeted at the bottle, closure and cosmetic
jar industries.
