COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT
1. Shareholders of CET are referred to the announcement published by Sanlam
Limited "Sanlam") on SENS on 28 September 2005.
2. CET notes the position adopted by Sanlam in its announcement.
3. Sanlam Life Insurance Limited, a subsidiary of Sanlam, is the single
largest ordinary shareholder of Sancino Projects Limited, holding
approximately 10% of its ordinary shares in issue, and is also a
significant and longstanding shareholder of CET.
4. In the circumstances CET intends to engage Sanlam with a view to resolving
the matter.
5. Shareholders of CET will be advised of any further developments.
