TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited relating to trading
statements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon
as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be
reported on will show a difference of 20% or more from those of the previous
corresponding period.
Samroc is expecting marginally positive earnings per share and headline earnings
per share for the year ended 30 June 2005 compared to the loss and headline loss
of 0.64 cent per share of the previous comparative period.
The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on
by Samroc"s auditors.
