professional and impartial manner. If the company fails to retain a Designated
Adviser, it must make arrangements to appoint a new Designated Adviser within 10
business days, failing which the company faces suspension of trading of its
securities. If a Designated Adviser is not appointed within 30 days of its
suspension, the company faces the termination of its listing without the
prospect of an appropriate offer to minority shareholders.

FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT OF XERAGEN LABORATORIES (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED TRADING AS
FIRSTPHARM ("FirstPharm")
Shareholders are advised that further to the announcement dated 6 September
2005, Enaleni has successfully raised R14 000 000 by way of placing vendor
shares with selected investors and Black Economic Empowerment parties. The new
Enaleni ordinary shares were placed at 280 cents each, being the 30 day weighted
average price on 12 September 2005 when the vendor placing price was finalised.
The transaction therefore becomes unconditional.
