Nature of disclosure The members of the Platinum Consortium are in
the process of finalising the arrangements on
dissolving the Platinum Consortium, which
came together for the purpose of making the
mandatory cash offer to Barplats minority
shareholders following the acquisition of a
controlling interest in Barplats from Impala
Platinum Holdings Limited.
In the interest of good corporate governance
and transparency, the Platinum Consortium has
resolved to continue making voluntary
disclosures of any trading activity
undertaken by members of the Platinum
Consortium until such time as the
arrangements on the dissolution of the
Platinum Consortium has been finalised and
communicated to the market.
