("ITRIX") (Established on 6 September 2005 in the Republic of South Africa in
terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002 (the "Act"))
(the "portfolios")
LISTING OF ITRIX FTSE 100 SECURITIES AND ITRIX DJ EURO STOXX 50 SECURITIES
Further to the announcement published on Monday, 19 September 2005, Java Capital
is authorised to announce the listing on the main board of the JSE of ITRIX FTSE
100 securities and ITRIX DJ EURO STOXX 50 securities in the "Exchange Traded
Funds" sector, with effect from commencement of business on Monday, 10 October
2005.
ITRIX FTSE 100 SUBSCRIPTIONS
Cash subscriptions (in both Rands and British Pounds) totalling R112 347 598.11
(based on a Rand/GBP exchange rate of 11.2845/1) were received pursuant to the
initial offer for ITRIX FTSE 100 securities. 1 800 000 ITRIX FTSE 100 securities
(referencing 18 whole baskets of shares comprising the FTSE 100 Index) will be
issued to successful applicants at commencement of trade on Monday, 10 October
2005 at a price per security of approximately R62,42.
ITRIX DJ EURO STOXX 50 SUBSCRIPTIONS
Cash subscriptions (in both Rand and Euros) totalling R111,793,567.95 (based on
a Rand/Euro exchange rate of 7.6795/1) were received by Itrix Managers pursuant
to the initial offer for ITRIX DJ Euro Stoxx 50 securities. 4 200 000 ITRIX DJ
EURO STOXX 50 securities (referencing 42 whole baskets of shares comprising the
DJ EUROSTOXX 50 Index) will be issued to successful applicants at commencement
of trade on Monday, 10 October 2005 at a price per security of approximately
R26,62.
CONVERSION OF LAs TO ITRIX SECURITIES
In respect of Rand subscriptions for ITRIX FTSE 100 securities, 160.21704 ITRIX
FTSE 100 SECURITIES will be issued for every 10 000 LA"s (ITXUKL) (issued at
R1,00 per LA) held.
In respect of British Pound subscriptions for ITRIX FTSE 100 securities,
1807.96922 ITRIX FTSE 100 securities will be issued for every 10 000 LA"s
(ITXUKF) (issued at 1 GBP per LA) held.
In respect of Rand subscriptions for ITRIX DJ EURO STOXX 50 securities,
375.69333 ITRIX EURO STOXX 50 securities will be issued for every 10 000 LA"s
(ITXEUL) (issued at R1,00 per LA) held.
In respect of Euro subscriptions for ITRIX DJ EURO STOXX 50 securities,
2885.13692 ITRIX EURO STOXX 50 securities will be issued for every 10 000 LA"s
(ITXEUF) (issued at 1 Euro per LA) held.
