TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited relating to trading
statements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon
as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be
reported on will show a difference of 20% or more from those of the previous
corresponding period.
L.A Group expects the earnings and headline earnings per share for the six
months ended 31 August 2005 to be between 20% and 30% higher compared to that of
the previous comparative period.
The financial information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or
reported on by L.A. Group"s auditors. The interim results are expected to be
published on or about 31 October 2005.
