PROFIT UPDATE AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Profit update
Management are pleased to announce that the results for the year ended
31 August 2005 are in line with the results forecast in the circular to
shareholders dated 8 August 2005, which were:

Net income before interest and taxation 2 912
Net income after taxation 2 333
These figures represent a turnaround to profitability from the previous year"s
loss.
Management further reports good progress in converting its electricity meter
hardware business to that of energy management services based on its automated
meter reading technology. The energy management services will further be
enhanced by the introduction of a low cost solution suitable for commercial
property landlords.
Cautionary announcement
Shareholders are advised that Zaptronix has entered into negotiations which, if
successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of the Company"s
securities.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company"s securities until a full announcement is made.
