SRI Index Update - Investec PLC (South Africa): Addition

Rule 3.2.1 of the Ground Rules to the JSE SRI Index states that "As a
constituent of the JSE SRI Index must be a member of the All Share Index, the
Ground Rules of the All Share Index apply with regards all issues of technical
index construction, including for instance, issues such as liquidity, the
suspension of stocks, calculation methodologies etc." The All Share Ground
Rules therefore take precedence in this regard.
As Investec Limited and Investec PLC are treated as one company with 2 lines in
the FTSE/JSE All Share Index, the same should apply to the SRI Index. Investec
Ltd is currently a member of the SRI Index; therefore Investec PLC should also
be a constituent of this index. The JSE announces this correction.
