Notice is hereby given that a dividend of 320 cents per convertible perpetual
cumulative preference share ("preference share") has been declared and is
payable to holders of preference shares recorded in the preference share
register of the Company at the close of business on the record date, Friday, 25
November 2005. The last day to trade in order to receive the preference
dividend is Friday, 18 November 2005.
The salient dates for the preference dividend are as follows:

Last day to trade cum dividend Friday, 18 November
Shares trade ex dividend Monday, 21 November
Record date for preference dividend Friday, 25 November
Payment of preference dividend Wednesday, 30 November
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or re-materialised and no
conversion of preference shares into ordinary shares will be permitted between
Monday, 21 November 2005 and Friday, 25 November 2005, both days inclusive.
