In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited South Africa, shareholders attention is drawn to the fact that Mr. AB
Mashiatshidi has resigned from the board of directors as non-executive
chairperson with effect from 28 October 2005 due to a perceived conflict of
interest and Mr. KJ Gribnitz has taken up the position vacated by Mr.
Mashiatshidi on the board.
